A BILL to amend and reenact §29-12-12 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to continuation of the Board of Risk and Insurance Management.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That §29-12-12 of the Code of West Virginia, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 12. STATE INSURANCE.

§29-12-12. Continuation of state Board of Risk and Insurance Management.

Pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of this code, the state Board of Risk and Insurance Management shall continue to exist until the first day of July, two thousand six eleven, unless sooner terminated, continued or reestablished.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to continue the Board of Risk and Insurance Management until July 1, 2011, pursuant to the West Virginia Sunset Law.

NOTE: This bill is recommended by the Joint Committee on Government Operations for passage during the 2006 Regular Session.
